Important PTA Meeting!
Tuesday, June 16th @ 6:15pm

Movie Night!
Friday, June 12 @ 6:30pm
Come enjoy the last movie night of the year. We'll be showing the classic movie, "The Absentminded Professor."
Fred MacMurray stars in this comedy classic as Professor Brainard, an inventive but forgetful college instructor who uses Flubber -- a chemical that "lifts" anyone who ingests it -- to perform many wonders. Among many other feats, he's able to boost the basketball team, make a car fly and save his beloved Medfield College! Also stars Ed Wynn, Keenan Wynn and Nancy Olson.
Afterschool Exhibit &Show
Wednesday, June 17th @ 6:15pm (PS 3 Auditorium)
Our young apprentices will showcase their works in clay, painting, sculpture and architecture, and present demos and performances created especially for this occasion. Short segments by TADA! Musical Theater, Fencing, Gymnastics, World Dance w/ Live Percussion, Drama, Martial Arts, will fill our special evening.
Don't miss this fun event!
Extended Day Offered for Upcoming Half Days
Tuesday, June 9th, and Monday, June 15th, are half-days at PS 3. This means that children will be dismissed at 12noon.
The Afterschool Program runs extended sessions on those two days, from 12noon to 6pm, but this service is available only to families who register in advance. If you'd like to sign up your child, please go to our Website, click on the Registration Link for Occasional Users and follow the prompts
Go Field Day
The forces of nature were battled as much as rival teams at this year's Field Day but the effort was well worth it. Our mighty Spartans, Athenians, Corinthians and Thebians (you know, people from Thebes) ran, jumped, pulled and even donned captain's hats to victory last Friday. It was as much fun as it was wet. Great job to students and volunteers alike!
Wanted: Great Kid Drawings!
I'm currently working to upgrade the PS3 Website and am looking for drawings from kids at PS3. The ideal drawing should look good in black and white, and should not be cut off, ie. includes arms and legs instead of being chopped off in the middle of the body. Rocket ships, animals, self portraits, stars, hearts, houses - all are good. I can't guarantee your kids drawing will get used but I'd love to get as many up as possible up.
If you have a drawing you'd like to see on the site, email me at: robin@fluidny.com. If you have artwork already scanned, you can email it to me or we can arrange to meet so I can get the work and scan it myself. (I will take very good care of it.)
And try rolling over images. Some may have extra surprises!
